Terms of use

Terms of use

A plain-language baseline for the FieldRadar app, web dashboard and website. Last updated: 24 July 2026.

These terms are between you and FieldRadar Ltd, the provider of the FieldRadar app, web dashboard and website.

Using FieldRadar

FieldRadar is a tool for recording and evidencing construction site information: defects, safety findings, tasks, progress, inspections, permits, photos, voice notes and reports. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter and for how you use the reports you produce.

Not a substitute for professional judgement

FieldRadar helps record and evidence your site checks and workflows. It does not replace competent-person judgement, RAMS, statutory inspections, client or principal-contractor procedures, or professional health-and-safety or legal advice. You remain responsible for meeting your legal and contractual duties.

Accounts

You are responsible for keeping your account secure and for activity under it. Do not use FieldRadar for unlawful purposes or in a way that infringes others' rights.

Your content

For a personal workspace, as between you and FieldRadar Ltd, you keep the rights you already have in content you are authorised to create or upload. This does not transfer to you any rights belonging to an employer, client or another person. For a company workspace, the contracting customer controls the workspace and its records; ownership, custody and permitted use are governed by the customer agreement and applicable law. An individual contributor does not acquire ownership merely by entering or uploading a record. In either case, you confirm that you are authorised to provide the content and grant FieldRadar Ltd the limited permission needed to host, process, sync, secure, back up and export it as part of the service. See the privacy policy for detail.

Subscriptions

Individual access is available through the Apple App Store and Google Play. The applicable store checkout shows the price, introductory offer, renewal, cancellation and refund terms that apply to your purchase. Team and Team Plus are managed company pilots, contracted and invoiced directly: published prices are indicative starting points, and service starts only after we agree the pilot scope, billing/VAT treatment, support and data terms in writing. Enterprise is quoted separately.

Pro fair use

Pro has no automated count caps on projects, plans, pins, inspections, diary workflows or PDF exports. We may apply reasonable operational safeguards only where necessary to protect security, service integrity or disproportionate third-party cost. Those safeguards do not create a hidden usage quota, and we will give reasonable notice where practicable.

Company workspaces

The intended Team model gives the contracting company custody and control of its workspace and records, with administrators managing members and project assignments. Removing a member, offboarding them or deleting their individual account does not by itself delete the company workspace or its records: the member may lose access while the company retains the project record under its documented retention and deletion instructions. This model, including company-administrator access, portfolio access, leaver behaviour and storage policies, remains under validation and is not currently represented as production-ready. Any managed pilot must identify the controller and processor roles and define custody, export, return, retention and deletion in writing.

Availability and changes

We aim to keep the service available and reliable but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may update the app, this website and these terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the last-updated date.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, FieldRadar is provided "as is". We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the app or reliance on reports produced with it. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
