Terms of use

These terms are between you and FieldRadar Ltd, the provider of the FieldRadar app, web dashboard and website.

Using FieldRadar

FieldRadar is a tool for recording and evidencing construction site information: defects, safety findings, tasks, progress, inspections, permits, photos, voice notes and reports. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter and for how you use the reports you produce.

Not a substitute for professional judgement

FieldRadar helps record and evidence your site checks and workflows. It does not replace competent-person judgement, RAMS, statutory inspections, client or principal-contractor procedures, or professional health-and-safety or legal advice. You remain responsible for meeting your legal and contractual duties.

Accounts

You are responsible for keeping your account secure and for activity under it. Do not use FieldRadar for unlawful purposes or in a way that infringes others' rights.

Your content

For a personal workspace, as between you and FieldRadar Ltd, you keep the rights you already have in content you are authorised to create or upload. This does not transfer to you any rights belonging to an employer, client or another person. For a company workspace, the contracting customer controls the workspace and its records; ownership, custody and permitted use are governed by the customer agreement and applicable law. An individual contributor does not acquire ownership merely by entering or uploading a record. In either case, you confirm that you are authorised to provide the content and grant FieldRadar Ltd the limited permission needed to host, process, sync, secure, back up and export it as part of the service. Subscriptions

Individual access is available through the Apple App Store and Google Play. The applicable store checkout shows the price, introductory offer, renewal, cancellation and refund terms that apply to your purchase. Team and Team Plus are bought online by a company and are covered by the Team subscription terms below. Enterprise is quoted separately.

Pro fair use

Pro has no automated count caps on projects, plans, pins, inspections, diary workflows or PDF exports. We may apply reasonable operational safeguards only where necessary to protect security, service integrity or disproportionate third-party cost. Those safeguards do not create a hidden usage quota, and we will give reasonable notice where practicable.

Team subscription terms

Who the agreement is with. Team and Team Plus are business subscriptions. The person who starts a Team subscription confirms they are authorised to accept these terms for the company named at checkout, and the company is the customer.

Plans and price. Team includes up to three live projects and Team Plus up to ten, with unlimited company members; archived projects do not count. Prices are shown on the pricing page and at checkout. FieldRadar Ltd is not currently VAT registered, so no VAT is charged; if that changes we will give at least 30 days’ notice before VAT is added.

Free trial. Each person can start one 30-day free trial. No card or Direct Debit is needed to start. If an owner adds one before the trial ends, the first payment is taken when it ends, unless the plan is cancelled first. If none is added, nothing is charged and the company workspace becomes read-only until an owner adds one and restarts the plan, when the first payment is taken.

Payment and renewal. Payment is taken in advance by card or Bacs Direct Debit through our payment provider, Stripe, and an invoice is issued for every payment. Subscriptions renew automatically each month or year until cancelled. Self-serve plans do not include credit or payment terms. We may change prices for future billing periods with at least 30 days’ notice to the company’s billing email.

Cancellation and changes. A company owner can upgrade, downgrade, switch between monthly and annual billing, or cancel at any time from the Company page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid month or year, and we do not refund part periods except where the law requires. If a payment fails we retry it and email the billing contact; if it still cannot be collected, the subscription ends.

When a subscription ends. The company workspace becomes read-only: members can still view and export records but cannot add or change them. Restarting the subscription restores full access. A company owner can ask us to return or delete the workspace data by emailing support@fieldradar.co.uk.

Company workspaces

The company controls its workspace and records. Company owners and administrators manage members, roles and project access; owners also manage billing and can appoint other owners. Removing a member, offboarding them or deleting their individual account does not by itself delete the company workspace or its records: the member loses access while the company keeps the project record.

Data protection. For personal data in a company workspace, the company is the controller and FieldRadar Ltd processes it as the company’s processor. We will: process it only on the company’s documented instructions, which are these terms and its use of the service; ensure our staff are bound by confidentiality; apply appropriate technical and organisational security measures; use only the subprocessors listed in the privacy policy and give notice of changes; help the company respond to data-subject requests and meet its security, breach-notification and impact-assessment obligations; notify the company without undue delay after becoming aware of a personal data breach affecting its workspace; delete or return the data at the end of the service on request, unless the law requires us to keep it; and make available the information needed to demonstrate these commitments.

Availability and changes

We aim to keep the service available and reliable but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may update the app, this website and these terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the last-updated date.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, FieldRadar is provided "as is". We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the app or reliance on reports produced with it. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
