Does it replace our permit process?
No. It records and evidences your existing permit-to-work process and keeps it with your site record. Your competent-person authorisation still applies.
Can I get warned before a permit expires?
Yes. Authorised permits with a validity end schedule a reminder before they run out, while the permit is still open.
